La Rumba Latina is a fantastic latin event, which has been held regularly since November 2003 at The Forum Bar & Club in Aberdeen. It was the idea of a Colombian dj Mauricio to promote the Latin music in town by creating a spot where all the enthusiasts of Salsa, Merengue and other Latin rhythms could enjoy themselves!

What makes La Rumba Latina the favourite Latin event for many is the atmosphere; it is the event where people from many different countries, cultures and ages gather exclusively to have a great time.

The night always starts with a free salsa lesson for beginners, an easy-to-follow approach to the basic steps of Salsa led by recognised teachers around the country, followed by the second to none new and classic musical selection of host DJ Mauricio. It is not just Salsa and Merengue, dj Mauricio also plays Bachata, Latin Pop, Reggaeton, Cumbia, Samba, and anything else that has evolved from the Latin musical roots. Attendants are also attracted by the Latin videos projected in big screen as well as shows on stage featuring professional dancers, singers and performers throughout the night.

La Rumba Latina has become so popular amongst the party goers that we have a number of regular attendants coming over from other cities and towns attracted by the shows, the music or simply because it is the best real Latin night in Scotland.

There is a good night out, there is a great night out and there is La Rumba!
